Surgical Site Infection Surveillance System (HPA)

Health Protection Agency - Internal site

This surveillance system is currently being used on a daily basis by the HPA to monitor cases of surgical infections. The application funtionality can be divided in the following 2 categories:

Admin management and
Hospital user interfaces

This is a multi-tier application driven by a SQL2005 database and was written in C#.

Clinical Effectiveness (NHS)

This web application serves as portal for the NHS to easily track local and NICE guidelines for medical procedures. It is currently being used on a daily basis by doctors, nurses, consultants, clinical leads and administrators. This multi-tier web appliation is database driven (via LINQ) and use the latest in AJAX technologies. Developed in C#.

Enhanced Tuberculosis Surveillance (HPA)

As the name indicates, is this an enhanced surveillance application for TB. It is currently being used to monitor cases of TB over all of the UK. It consists of the following 2 interfaces:

Admin management and
Hospital user interface

This is a multi-tier web application which exposes the underlying SQL2005 database via Soap Web Services.

Purina

The Purina Web2 application was designed and created for Purina and is currently still in use.
